Our Christmas Tree 2008

The day after Thanksgiving we all loaded up and headed to the Christmas tree farm. There is a real nice place in York, SC that we went to last year and cut down a fresh tree. This farm gives away free candy canes and hot chocolate which is nice on a cold day.
Here is a "Tree Limo" for all your "tree" transporting needs!!!
Matt slaving away at cutting the tree down.

We have our tree and we are headed home. Everyone looks so chipper. :)

Getting a fresh Christmas tree is so much fun. There are so many too choose from so it makes for a difficult decision as to which one has the best form! Visiting the tree farm makes for a great tradition that can be remembered for years.

Thanksgiving 2008

So, this was my first Thanksgiving away from home and my family. I had a great day but I did miss my family. My friends, Matt & Audrey, welcomed me into their home. Having great friends like them made the day easier for me.

We had some REALLY good food!!! We had all the normal "fixins" for our Thanksgiving dinner but the best part was the pumpkin cheesecake. As you can see our table was full!!!

Our friend Angela from Florida came up for a few days. We had a great time and it was nice seeing someone from home.

Over all it was a great day!!! We have so much to be thankful for in our lives!!!
